Q: When supplying artwork on disk or email, what else do you need?
A: Please supply a hardcopy of final artwork layout. Without this we accept no responsibility if any fonts or images etc. are missing.
Q: What type of computer files can Signcraft use.
A: Illustrator, Photoshop, Signlab TIFF, EPS, PDF (Print Quality), JPEG (Max Quality), High res PDF.
Q: Suppling Fonts in artwork?
A: All fonts should be converted to outlines (curves) within the document.
Q: Colour Matching?
A: Please assign any Pantone colours as spot when used in the document, especially in logos, this will allow us to match colours as accurately as possible. Please note we print in CYMK so some variation can occur.
Q: What Resolution do you require images to be supplied at?
A: Images must be supplied at a minimum of 100 dpi if at 100% of final output size. Therefore they should be 400 dpi if at 25% of final output size, and 200 dpi if at 50% of final output size. These resolutions are the absolute minimum requirements, images can be supplied at higher resolutions if desired.
Q: Can my sign be delivered?
A: Yes, we can deliver your signs. Normal courier/delivery charges will apply.
Q: How long will Signcraft need my vehicle?
A: Most vehicles can have the graphics applied in one business day, dependent on the size and complexity of the job. Please consult with us for specific time frames. If you have certain deadlines that must be met, please discuss them with us.
We do ask that you wash your vehicle before bringing it in otherwise further charges can occur.
Q: If I have special colour matching requirements, or need to have my letterhead and business cards matched can Signcraft meet my needs?
A: Yes. Depending on the type of sign and it’s uses, we can match according to your needs.
Q: If I bring my logo on a disk / CD, what format works best?
A:The most suitable file formats are print ready PDF’s, and .eps (Encapsulated Post Script) fIles, but many other types are also acceptable.
